Abacus Retirement Solutions, LLC is a third party administrator specializing in the design, installation, and administration of 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, pension plans, and profit sharing plans. Our company model is based on providing our clients with a high level of customer service, consulting expertise, and employee education. The principals of the company oversee all areas of plan administration and we guarantee that our work will be done accurately and in a timely manner.








Personal Biographies of the
Abacus Principals:
  Tony Allred                  Al Mathews

Al Mathews has over 20 years of experience in the pension field. His experience includes plan design and consulting, plan administration, pension sales and client presentations. He holds the professional designation of Accredited Pension Administrator (APA) through the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA). Mr. Mathews received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University.

Tony Allred has 14 years of experience in the pension and investment field. His career began as an investment broker and he later became an owner of one of the largest pension administration firms in New Mexico. Mr. Allred is a graduate of the Anderson Schools of Management at the University of New Mexico and holds the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) professional designation through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).
